Are you one of those people who wake up but lie on the bed for hours and overthink? Well, many people do that. And if you are doing the same, then it is time to stop. You might know time waits for none. Then, why are you wasting your priceless time? 

Waking up early in the morning can be one of the most difficult things to do for some people. Even if they wake up early, they just sit idle. Because it has become their daily routine, their habit. Shockingly, they don’t try to change that. They don’t realize the importance of time. 

And some people wake up just for the sake of getting up and going to work. They don’t have any goals and plans for the day. They have the same routine every day- get up, eat, work, eat, and sleep. And whatever comes in their way, they either engage or avoid it.

However, people only recognize those who are successful. They only focus, like, and idolize those who come first. Have you ever taken an interest in those who secured second and third? Obviously, no. 

Only successful people get recognition. However, if you think that they had an easy life, then you are wrong. Their hard work, dedication, and persistence are the reasons for them being who they are. They have goals in their life. They know their purpose. 

Do you know one of the reasons to be successful is, waking up early every day? Successful people get up early, plan for the day, and give their best. Your dreams and goals come true when you adopt good habits and have a routine. You need to really wake up early every day and work hard. 

If it’s tough for you to wake up, then here are some tips to make your morning better and easier.

Coldwater shower

Many experts and doctors recommend a cold shower in the morning. It doesn’t only wake you up, but it circulates blood and oxygen faster in the body, increasing your alertness and energy levels in the body. 

Amazingly, you experience freshness after leaving the shower compared to what you felt like before showering. The concentration and productivity level feel higher than you had before, and you will realize that in a few hours when you work. And this will continue throughout the day.

Moreover, a cold shower helps release endorphins, a chemical in the body that boosts positivity, freshness, and excitement in the body. However, remember not to jump right away in the cold shower. Some of you might not tolerate the cold. Slowly, decrease the temperature (until 70°F) while showering. Continue this every day for 5-10 minutes until you are comfortable.  

Morning routine

Every morning you have two choices. Either you continue dreaming with your eyes open or wake up and give your best effort continuously to chase after them. The choice is in your hand because no one is going to guide you better than yourself. You have to decide your fate. If you have the freedom to change yourself for the better, then why not? 

Frankly speaking, the first thing most people do when they wake up is looking at their phones? You might also be one of those people. Why do you think they/you do that? Because of your habit. It has already been deeply imprinted in your brain. If you repeat the same things every day at the same time, your mind remembers your activities. Then every time you open your eyes after sleeping, at any time, you reach out to your mobile-first. And even if it is involuntary, you do that. 

So, why not make a change in your morning routine? Why not wake up early in the morning, and make it a regular pattern?  

Create an effective morning pattern, not just to wake up but to wake up your mind as well.

The reason to wake up, know your, why!

Don’t just wake up because someone told you to. It’s just like how we were told to get up early by our parents in our childhood. We have been following it for years. 

However, it is time to wake up. You are not a child anymore. Now, you need to know why you should get up early. You know what, most people don’t know their purpose of waking up early. They don’t even have an idea about the motives in their life. They just follow the same routine. Their life is like a wind-up toy. Unless someone powers them, they won’t move. 

Are you planning to be like that? If not, then you need to know your reason for waking up early. If you want to achieve something, then don’t waste your time. Get up early and set a strong foundation to achieve your goals by planning. 

Find a purpose and give your 100 per cent to achieve it.

Ultimately, it comes down to training your mind. To make your morning routine effective and wake up, you should prepare not just the body, but your brain as well.
